February 14th, Valentine’s Day. The date night of all date nights.
We know that red roses and a box of chocolates just doesn’t cut it anymore, so this Valentine’s Day, we’ve cooked up a special shared menu for you lovely couples (or hungry singles, because… treat yourself.).
We have our classic whipped goat’s curd and hummus to whet your appetite, followed by a few more small dishes including Marco Pierre White’s chicken liver parfait. You can thank Jock’s long-standing friendship with Marco for this smooth and silky addition to the Valentine’s menu.
Once you have wowed your significant other with the four entrees, we will move onto the main course – the porchetta with polenta and gremolata. For you folk unfamiliar with the delicious porchetta, it is pork belly rolled in herbs and slow cooked in the oven until it’s crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and bursting with flavor. Pair this with polenta and you have a match made in heaven.
Now, we know that’s a lot of food, but Valentine’s Day isn’t Valentine’s Day without something sweet. End the night with a classic pavlova – airy pillows of meringue, seasonal fruit and a generous helping of cream. What could be better?
This isn’t a ticketed event, but bookings are necessary.
The shared set menu is $80pp and sessions are at 6/6.15pm and 8.30/8.45pm.
We are looking forward to you joining us to celebrate love, great food and outstanding wine.
