Kevin brings a unique blend of passion and expertise to his winemaking, and throughout his 30+ year career has been recognised with numerous accolades, such as becoming a Len Evan tutorial scholar, a respected wine judge and Winestate’s “Winemaker of the Year.”

He is committed and passionate about winemaking, and understanding that, like any good relationship, winemaking takes time, effort, trust and flexibility to be successful.

Kevin’s winemaking career started when he left school, and he had had several years of hard work, experimentation and innovation behind him before joining Yalumba in 1999.  As Senior Red Winemaker for Yalumba, his hands-on approach has been the key to his success as an innovative and intuitive winemaker.

Yalumba is Australia’s most historic family-owned winery, boasting five generations and 167 years of history. This iconic brand continues to grow in size and stature and embodies all aspects of the Australian wine success story, making it the envy of winemakers, globally.
